Lots of data records are kept in databases which can be accessed using the internet, if you know how, and agencies and governments do keep info about many of us in remotely accessible locations. Of course ordinary people cant access them by design. Even so, people often worry about what info organisations hold about them, and if it will be used against them later. Certainly data can be used for something different than its original purpose, but mostly agencies do legitimately hold records for our benefit, with the aim of making our lives easier. Police and Health records for example, the fact they can be swapped between agencies quickly could save us and this data needs to be accessible over networks. It is possible some sites reveal all kinds of info about us, they access some government and business records, for example cell phone reverse lookup searches. Tough to find in the past, such background information and reverse lookups are now quite easy to find and although useful it could be argued they infringe on peoples security and private data.

AThere are many different types of data and records online, agencies and governments and even some businesses keep info about all of us. Do you know this happens without you agreeing to it? Often people do worry about what info people hold about them, and if it might be used against them later. Sometimes the original purpose is forgotten and the data is used for something different. Of course lets not get carried away, agencies do legitimately hold records generally for our benefit and to make things easier. Health records are a great example as their existance and quick access could save us. It is possible some sites reveal all kinds of info about us, they access some government and business records, for example cell phone reverse lookup searches. Tough to find in the past, such background information and reverse lookups are now quite easy to find and although useful it could be argued they infringe on peoples security and private data.

All kinds of data and records are kept by agencies and governments and even some businesses about all of us. Do you know this happens without your agreement? Some people worry about what info people hold about them, and in addition what they might use it for. Sometimes the original purpose is lost, and the data is then used for something entirely different. Businesses and agencies do legitimately hold records, and generally it is for our benefit and to make things easier. A great example is our health records for example, they are held for our benefit and could save us. Do you have any idea at all what sort of data is kept by agencies and governments and even some businesses about you? Without your agreement? Some people rightly do indeed worry about what info people hold about them, or swap about them, and what they might use it for. Data is often kept for one purpose then used for something entirely different later, data creep as its known. Businesses and agencies do hold some of our records, but generally it is for our benefit and to make things faster and easier. Our health records for example, they are held for our benefit and could save us, but could be risky for others to see. Websites can now offer info about all kinds of people, they access some government and business records, for example cell phone reverse lookup searches. Tough to find in the past, such background information and reverse lookups are now quite easy to find and although useful it could be argued they infringe on peoples security and private data.
